Cradle cap at its worse can appear very thick and slightly greenish or It can become inflamed and infected.

Do not try to remove cradle cap with your finger nails as you carry bacteria under your nails which may cause your babies cradle cap to become infected.

If it is inflamed, looks weepy or infected you should seek advice from a medical doctor.
