Caramel Slice

Ingredients
  • 1c self raising flour
  • 1c brown sugar
  • 1c desicated coconut
  • 125g butter
  • 30g butter
  • 2Tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 200g dark chocolate
Steps
  • Mix flour, brown sugar, coconut and 125g butter together.
  • Press into slice pan
  • Bake at 180C for 10 mins
  • Mix 30g butter, golden syrup and condensed milk in pot and heat on med/low stirring continually until thick (approx 5 mins).
  • Pour over base
  • Bake for further 10 mins
  • Cool then top with melted dark chocolate
