Chocolate Brownie recipes

Chocolate Brownie

Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ c cocoa
  • 7 eggs
  • 325 g butter
  • 3 ¼ c sugar
  • 1 ½ c flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 c choc bits (or more)
Steps
  • Cream butter and sugar together in large bowl
  • Add cocoa, then eggs.
  • Sift flour and baking powder into cocoa mix
  • Add vanilla and choc bits, extra choc is ok, I have been known to add the whole pkt.
  • Cook for 30-45 mins depending on your oven at 150-180C. you can under cook slightly and chill in freezer to create a chewy centre.
  • This recipe does make a lot of brownie. i make it in 2 tins or half the recipe depending on how much i feel like

Healthy(er), gluten free chocolate brownies

Ingredients
  • 400g butter beans
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 150g ground almonds
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • chocolate chips (optional)
Steps
  • Preheat oven to 160 degrees
  • Blend wet ingredients till smooth
  • Fold in dry ingredients
  • Bake 25-30 mins. Dust with icing sugar when cold.

Yum! I don't tell my husband that these brownies have beans in them and he thinks they are delicious!
