  • Her style incorporates acupuncture, moxabustion, massage therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, Yogic postures, Chinese nutrition and lifestyle counselling.

Laura says 'acupuncture has proven effectiveness at easing morning sickness, turning breech babies and posterior babies'. Also acupuncture has a role in preventing threatened miscarrige, treating fatigue, anaemia, oedema, hypertension, premature rupture of membranes, labour post due date, and shortening the first stage of labour. Chinese herbs can help prevent miscarriage, treat fatigue and other pregnancy related issues. They are safe to use in pregnancy if prescribed by a qualified practitioner.
