Martien has a strong history and trainings in Pregnancy, Paediatrics (babies and children) , cranial osteopathy and Biodynamic cranial osteopathy. Martien has been a Osteopath since 2000. She has a Honors degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopaths in Maidstone, Kent, UK. She was proir to this an Occupational therapist in a hospital setting. She is regulated by the Osteopathic council of New Zealand and holds a current Annual Practicing certificate.
She is ACC registered.

She has worked at the
  • Osteopathic centre for children in London,
  • The Active Birth Centre in London,
  • StillPoint Osteopathy in Epsom, Auckland.
  • Now solely from home in Private practice.

Martiens Philosophy
Martien says "I makes every effort to explain clearly what I am doing and what i have found. I plan build trust with you. There are never any 'surprises".

Martien works as a general osteopath, however the treatment of womeen during and after pregnancy, their newborns and children are her passion.
She believes the quality of pregnancy, birth and early time with your child is so important.
