At HolisticBaby, I'm often asked about complementary support during fertility treatment, pregnancy and the postpartum period.
One practitioner I feel confident recommending is Tineke Logan from ORA Acupuncture.
Tineke is a registered acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine practitioner with clinics at Birthcare Parnell and Pt Chevalier. Her practice focuses on women's health, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and she works with women at all stages of their journey to parenthood.
What I appreciate about Tineke is her calm, practical approach to care. She takes the time to listen, understand each person's situation, and tailor treatment to their individual needs. Her treatments draw on traditional Chinese Medicine while working alongside modern maternity care, making her a valuable part of a woman's support team.
Many women choose to see Tineke for support with:
As a midwife and IBCLC, I value working alongside practitioners who provide thoughtful, evidence-informed care and who understand the importance of collaboration. Tineke works alongside midwives, obstetricians, fertility specialists and other health professionals to support women throughout pregnancy and early parenthood.
I regularly refer women and families to ORA Acupuncture and feel confident doing so. Whether someone is preparing for pregnancy, navigating fertility treatment, seeking support during pregnancy, or recovering after birth, acupuncture can be a helpful addition to their care.
