HolisticBaby antenatal classes are designed for families planning to birth at Auckland City Hospital, Waitakere Hospital, Birthcare Auckland, or at home.
Led by Cathy McCormick, our Midwife, Nurse, NDC practitioner with Fussy Baby Network & internationally certified lactation consultant, HolisticBaby offers the most comprehensive support to navigate pregnancy, move through birth choices with ease, and attune to your baby for a calmer experience. Cathy is also available for postnatal care for women birthing with private obstetricians.

Pregnancy is a special time in your life. The growing life inside your womb influences your body, mind and soul in every way. Through gentle Hatha Yoga postures, your body gains flexibility and openness — and your mind becomes calmer and more focused.
Strengthening through yoga minimises common pregnancy issues like sciatica, lower back pain, rib pain and lower stomach discomfort. The way you breathe during labour is the main key to staying focused and tuning in with your body — the body wisdom that already knows how to birth a baby.
These classes are more than exercise. They're a place to reconnect, trust your body, and let go of anxiety. Suitable for all levels — even if you've never done yoga before.
